Senior Engineer (Remote) Your Role We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Senior Engineer to help bring the best possible software solutions to educators. You will own complex technical problems, collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional partners, and help design and build reliable, scalable software. Responsibilities Own complex technical problems and features, from understanding the problem and defining an approach through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement. Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify dependencies, and translate user needs into effective technical solutions. Contribute to system and architecture design decisions, evaluating tradeoffs and balancing maintainability, reliability, scalability, and time to delivery. Proactively communicate technical risks, dependencies, decisions, and changes in direction, and investigate production issues across interconnected services and external dependencies. Foster a collaborative engineering culture through code and design reviews, knowledge sharing, constructive feedback, and technical guidance to other engineers. Continuously develop technical knowledge and quickly build context in unfamiliar systems and technologies to solve problems effectively.
