About Vasa Digital
Vasa Digital is a specialist Enterprise Architecture firm that helps organizations make better, faster, and more defensible decisions about technology, transformation, and investment.
We work with executives and architecture teams when major initiatives are still taking shape—helping clarify the business problem, understand the current landscape, assess options, establish the architecture direction, and create a practical path forward.
Our work connects business strategy, capabilities, applications, data, technology, cost, and risk to support executive decisions and successful delivery.
We are certified delivery partners for leading Enterprise Architecture platforms, including Ardoq and LeanIX, and work as an embedded extension of our clients’ teams through an EA-as-a-Service model.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Architect who can operate as a senior advisor, business architect, and hands-on practitioner.
You will work with senior business and technology stakeholders to shape major strategic initiatives from the outset—clarifying objectives, structuring ambiguous problems, assessing alternatives, developing target states and roadmaps, and preparing initiatives for execution.
The role combines strategic advisory, business architecture, portfolio analysis, executive engagement, and practical architecture delivery.
What You Will Do - Shape Strategic Initiatives
- Work with executives and senior leaders to define complex business and technology problems
- Lead early discovery and architecture activities for major transformation initiatives
- Clarify objectives, constraints, dependencies, risks, and decision points
- Develop assessments, options, recommendations, target states, and transition roadmaps
- Prepare initiatives so delivery partners can begin from a strong, well-informed foundation
- Support annual planning, investment decisions, and multi-year initiative shaping
Provide Business Architecture and Advisory
- Connect strategy, capabilities, processes, operating models, applications, data, and technology
- Assess business and technology areas to identify opportunities for improvement
- Determine where organizations should simplify, modernize, consolidate, invest, or retire
- Translate complex findings into clear recommendations that executives can act upon
- Help establish repeatable Enterprise Architecture and business advisory services
Lead Major Programs
- Take ownership of significant architecture engagements from discovery through recommendation and transition
- Navigate complex organizations and build alignment across business, technology, finance, security, data, and delivery teams
- Establish trust with SVPs, senior directors, program leaders, and delivery partners
- Maintain the strategic direction of an initiative while ensuring recommendations remain practical
- Guide initiatives from early concept through architecture definition and delivery readiness
Application and Technology Portfolio Strategy
- Lead application portfolio assessments and rationalization initiatives
- Evaluate business fit, technical fit, lifecycle, cost, risk, duplication, and strategic alignment
- Identify opportunities for consolidation, modernization, vendor simplification, and investment optimization
- Connect portfolio decisions to business capabilities and priorities
- Help executives determine what to fund, fix, simplify, modernize, consolidate, or retire
Enterprise Architecture Platforms
- Use LeanIX, or similar platforms to support analysis and executive decisions
- Define pragmatic information structures, relationships, governance, and modeling approaches
- Ensure architecture data is trusted, usable, and connected to business questions
- Create views that connect capabilities, applications, technologies, organizations, costs, and risks
- Turn architecture data into decision-oriented insights
Facilitation and Executive Communication
- Lead workshops with senior business and technology stakeholders
- Ask the questions that uncover the real issue behind the stated request
- Structure incomplete and inconsistent information into a coherent point of view
- Present complex findings clearly and in plain language
- Build concise executive presentations, recommendations, and decision materials
- Help stakeholders reach alignment on difficult decisions

You are comfortable moving between executive conversations, capability models, application landscapes, business cases, and detailed working sessions.
You bring structure to ambiguity, recognize patterns across complex environments, and turn analysis into a clear recommendation and path forward.
Most importantly, you can help senior leaders understand what is happening, why it matters, and what they should do next.
