Compliance & Regulatory Communication - Ensure sampling and monitoring comply with Environmental Permit requirements and communicate with regulatory bodies such as the Environment Agency, Local Authorities, and Water Companies to maintain compliance. Performance Tracking & Reporting - Maintain oversight of ERF SHEQ performance by producing KPIs, monitoring trends, and generating summary reports to track facility performance. Contractor & Infrastructure Management - Liaise with and manage third-party contractors for environmental monitoring delivery, and coordinate daily with operational staff to maintain monitoring infrastructure and resolve compliance issues. Technical Support & Continuous Improvement - Advise Facility Managers on environmental legislation, conduct contractor audits, coordinate annual reporting across ERFs, and stay current with the latest legislation to support compliance. What we're looking for: Degree level in a scientific discipline Broad knowledge in waste management with extensive knowledge of ERFS understanding the principles and process. Problem-solving knowledge. Wide knowledge of waste legislation. Knowledge and understanding of the EA. Communication and interpersonal are very important. What’s next?
