OpenLoop is looking for a Senior Executive Recruiter to join our team remotely. In this role, you'll drive research, candidate identification, and early engagement for our most senior and executive-level searches — partnering closely with our recruiting team from intake through close. The role is primarily sourcing-focused today, with real room to grow into full executive recruiting responsibilities as you build a track record and trust with the team. What You'll Do: Lead the research and early outreach on senior and executive-level searches Map talent across our space, uncovering strong candidates in unexpected places — overlooked companies, direct competitors, adjacent industries Think beyond LinkedIn Recruiter — tapping into industry communities, warm networks, referrals, and other creative channels to find talent others miss Be the first voice a candidate hears from us — credible outreach and initial phone screens before handoff Maintain clean, accurate pipelines in Ashby so nothing falls through the cracks Help shape job specs, scorecards, and other search materials alongside our recruiters Bring market and comp insight to the table to sharpen sourcing strategy Share what you learn from each search to keep our playbook — and our talent database — growing Team up with recruiters, hiring managers, and partners across the business as each search calls for it Take on more full-cycle ownership of executive searches over time, as your scope grows with the role Other duties as assigned. Who You Are: 4+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience — no executive search firm background required, but you understand what it takes to earn a senior leader's attention A natural at engaging senior and C-level candidates: clear, confident, and fluent enough in our business strategy to make the case to talent who isn't actively looking Sharp instincts and sound judgment — you know which questions actually reveal fit, and you're not afraid to push back when something doesn't add up Curious and resourceful; every search looks different, and you genuinely enjoy the hunt for where to look next Discreet and trustworthy with confidential searches and sensitive information Self-motivated and organized, with a genuine desire to grow from sourcing into full-cycle executive recruiting Proficient with an ATS (we use Ashby) — you know how to use it to keep a search sharp, not just organized Our Benefits In addition, for salaried positions you would also be eligible for: Medical, Dental, and Vision plans Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts Flexible PTO 401(k) + Company Match Life Insurance, Pet insurance, and more Our Company We have a relatively flat organizational structure here at OpenLoop.
