Senior Finance Systems Specialist Location: Antwerp, Amsterdam Own finance systems and help drive reliable, scalable financial operations. You’ll own the integrity, stability, and scalability of our finance systems, with SAP S4 HANA at the core and connected platforms including Snowflake, Pigment, and other Finance tools forming part of the broader systems landscape. The role You step into ownership. You move fast and take responsibility for what you build. As the systems expert within the Finance team, you'll keep finance systems reliable across critical processes, lead implementations and enhancements, strengthen governance and data integrity, and partner across Finance, Tech, Data, the business, and external vendors to support scalable financial operations. What you’ll do (and what you won’t) You own the reliability and day-to-day operation of SAP S4 HANA and connected Finance systems across critical processes, including month-end close and real-time reporting You lead implementations of new SAP modules, Finance systems, integrations, and enhancements from requirements through configuration, testing, training, rollout, and stabilization You monitor and troubleshoot integrations, resolving system, data, and connectivity issues or coordinating escalation with internal Tech teams and external vendors You identify opportunities to simplify and automate Finance workflows, using AI and other technologies where they can meaningfully improve efficiency, accuracy, quality, and scalability You own system access, roles, permissions, master data structures, controls, and governance to support secure, audit-ready financial processes You partner closely with Finance, Tech, Data, business users, and external stakeholders to align on reporting integrity, integration design, and system scalability You use sound judgment to make configuration, operational, roadmap, and governance decisions across the Finance systems landscape You build solutions that improve reliability, reconciliation accuracy, adoption, and the way Finance operates at scale You won’t wait for endless approvals when you own the decision hide behind processes when a system or workflow can be simplified talk about AI without practicing it in your workflow treat activity as progress when the outcome is not better Finance operations How you’ll succeed We look for people who think big, stay curious, and aren’t afraid to go all in to make things happen. What you’ll bring You bring at least 5 years of experience in finance systems or a related field You have hands-on experience with ERP or Finance systems, including SAP S4 HANA, master data, controls, and integrations You understand end-to-end financial process flows and how Finance systems and data platforms work together to support accurate, controlled, scalable reporting You have experience leading cross-functional systems projects or implementations from requirements gathering through testing, rollout, and stabilization You translate Finance requirements into clear system needs and coordinate effectively across Finance, Tech/Data, business users, and external vendors You diagnose complex system, data, and integration issues and drive them to resolution with the right stakeholders You use AI regularly and intentionally where it improves quality, output, experience, or decisions, while critically checking outputs and retaining accountability for AI-assisted work You work independently, know when to involve others, and are comfortable operating through change and ambiguity Loop isn’t for everyone.
