About Aryzta Europe Business Service Center
The Business Service Center in Wrocław was established in 2023. Since May 2024, we operate as a separate company based in Wrocław at Legnicka Street. Our team currently consists of more than 100 employees. Our portfolio includes processes in the areas of finance, master data, procurement, IT, and project management.
About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst supports key financial controlling processes, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of pricing, cost management, and financial reporting activities. The role is responsible for supporting timely and accurate month-end close (MEC) processes, as well as ongoing controlling operations related to cost analysis, performance monitoring, and financial control across multiple entities and cost centres. The Senior Financial Analyst supports financial transparency, drives cost optimization, and enables informed business decision-making while ensuring strong financial governance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead / support the transition of finance operations into the Business Services Center (BSC), supporting the development of a scalable and best-in-class support model
- Drive process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, standardization, automation, and operational excellence
- Manage and support financial and controlling activities across multiple entities and cost centres
- Partner with commercial, operations, and finance stakeholders to provide actionable financial insights that support strategic decision-making and business performance management
- Oversee management reporting, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and cost performance monitoring, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery
- Support pricing, rebate, inventory, and cost controlling processes while ensuring strong financial governance across key business areas
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of financial data across ERP and reporting systems through reconciliations, controls, and validation activities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of standardized finance processes, policies, and controls within the new BSC structure
- Support cross-functional projects, ad hoc financial analyses, and business case development to improve operational effectiveness and support organizational growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 10+ years in finance, including 6–7 years in controlling, financial analysis, reporting, or finance business partnering
- Strong knowledge of controlling processes (budgeting, forecasting, cost control, reporting, inventory, month-end close)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP ECC/S4HANA) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)
- Solid understanding of automation, AI-driven optimization, and digital transformation initiatives
- Experience in process improvement, standardization, and finance transformations
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement approach
- Ability to translate financial data into business insights
- Capability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate in international environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel skills; SQL, VBA, or Power Query as a plus
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CMA is considered a strong advantage
