The Opportunity We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Shared Services team. In this role, you will take ownership of dentist compensation administration, accounts receivable analysis and reconciliation across Dentalcorp practices. You will play a critical role in ensuring doctors are paid accurately and on time and that practice AR is monitored, reconciled, and reported with integrity. With a strong foundation in accounting, finance, and financial analysis, you bring the ability to translate complex compensation, AR, and expense data into meaningful insights that support operational decision-making and financial integrity. You excel in collaborative environments, partnering with Operations, Practice Managers, Finance, and Revenue teams to resolve issues and deliver reliable outcomes. You demonstrate the accountability, judgment, and independence required to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven setting. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of accounts receivable, compensation administration, expense reconciliation, and internal controls, and demonstrates the ability to support, guide, and mentor junior team members. In This Role, You Will Validate dental draw calculations and supporting data to ensure payments are accurate, complete, and aligned with approved compensation arrangements Process dental draw payments for doctors within established timelines Review compensation, production, collection, and adjustment information to identify discrepancies requiring follow-up Maintain accurate documentation to support payment calculations, adjustments, and audit requirements Prepare journal entries, accruals, and month-end reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies as they arise Compare practice AR to balance sheet reporting and investigate variances, aging concerns, and unusual balances Analyze aging, trends, fluctuations, adjustments, and anomalies to identify risks and root causes Calculate and review quarterly practice and corporate provisions and support related reporting requirements Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules to assist with practice month-end close Support clean-up activities that improve AR accuracy and reporting quality Support Operations teams with AR performance insights and follow-up on practice-level issues Train Practice Managers from new acquisitions on how to fulfill reporting requirements and related submission expectations Review and approve Practice Manager write-off requests in line with established expectations Identify emerging financial risks and escalate concerns before they become significant issues Support process improvement and automation initiatives that strengthen controls, service delivery, and financial reliability Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and supporting their development What You’ll Bring Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA designation or active enrollment is considered a plus 4+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, finance, accounting, compensation administration, or financial analysis Experience in healthcare, dental, multi-site operations, retail, or shared services environments is preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and financial data analysis techniques Experience with ERP, financial, or practice management systems is an asset Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven setting Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality About Dentalcorp Dentalcorp is Canada’s largest and fastest growing network of dental practices, committed to advancing the overall well-being of Canadians by delivering the best clinical outcomes and unforgettable experiences. The salary range for this position is $70,000 CAD to $90,000 CAD annually (plus a bonus of up to 1 0% and competitive total rewards and benefits package). Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
