Senior Financial Analyst / Financial Modeler

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst / Financial Modeler Location: Remote – Latin America (Some overlap with US PST hours) Type of Contract: Full-Time - Independent Contractor (Long Term) Salary Range : Market Rates Language Requirements: Advanced English (written and verbal) We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst with deep expertise in financial modelling and corporate finance to join our growing team. You will play a key role in building, reviewing, and optimizing complex financial models for professional audiences across investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance. Your work will directly impact the quality, scalability, and global usability of high-end financial modelling solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize fully integrated financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) across multiple finance domains Build advanced modelling components including revenue drivers, scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and capital structure modelling Review, stress-test, and enhance complex financial models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and robustness Design and solve real-world financial problem sets with strong technical and educational value Collaborate with finance experts and developers to ensure model scalability, documentation, and integrity Provide ongoing support including QA, debugging, and continuous improvement of financial models and content Own modelling projects end-to-end, from initial concept to fully functional deliverables Must-Have Qualifications 2–8+ years of hands-on experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, valuation, FP&A, or similar technical finance roles Proven ability to build complete financial models from scratch, including three-statement models, DCF, comparable analysis, and WACC calculations Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, dynamic modelling, and multi-sheet linked workbooks Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial statement integration High attention to detail with strong model structuring, auditing, and documentation practices Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and operate in a remote, fast-paced environment Strong English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Preferred Qualifications Experience creating or reviewing financial modelling case studies or technical assessments Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related quantitative field Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent Experience mentoring or leading junior analysts Familiarity with programming, automation, or data tools related to financial modelling
