Senior Full-Stack Developer

At Remote Crew, we’re partnering with an innovative AI consultancy that helps large enterprises and fast-growing companies build production-ready AI products with measurable business impact. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications, combining modern web technologies with robust engineering practices. This is an excellent opportunity to work on end-to-end products, collaborating with AI engineers, designers, and strategists to deliver scalable solutions used in real business environments.

Salary: €70k-80k/year

Location: 100% Remote - Portugal

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and deploy full-stack AI-powered applications from concept to production
• Develop responsive front-end applications using React, TypeScript, and modern front-end technologies
• Build scalable back-end services using Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks)
• Design and maintain the data pipelines, databases, and integration layers connecting applications to AI systems
• Integrate AI models, agents, and retrieval systems into customer-facing products
• Ensure software quality through testing, observability, monitoring, and continuous feedback loops
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers, designers, strategists, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in client conversations, helping translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Own application architecture, performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical or scientific field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong back-end development experience with Python (FastAPI or similar)
• Solid front-end experience with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling
• Experience working with relational databases and service integrations
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, version control, and code quality
• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Comfortable balancing performance, scalability, cost, and maintainability in production systems
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, MCP-based workflows, or similar
• Professional proficiency in English

• Experience integrating AI models, agents, or retrieval systems into production applications
• Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments
• Strong understanding of application observability, monitoring, and production debugging
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Passion for AI, emerging technologies, and continuous learning
