Is this job info correct?

Senior Full-Stack Engineer Apply 🌴 Why join Thynk? Founded by a team of experienced SaaS founders and hospitality executives, Thynk is on a mission to revolutionize the 2T$ hospitality industry and become a new vertical SaaS giant. Our ambition is fuelled by a fantastic product built on top of the Salesforce platform and a spot on time to market. We raised a 13M$ Series A from high-profile VCs (NY+EU) to scale our operations and expand to the US. Your role is key at our stage to make sure we scale the right way, it is an opportunity to have a big impact on the company. Our customers are all over the world and so are we, with team members from 25 nationalities, based on 3 continents and 6 time zones - building a strong common culture while respecting the individual constraints of everyone in our remote-first environment. Thynk is also going through a deep AI transformation — we are rebuilding how our internal teams work, from sales to delivery, around AI tooling (Claude, Cowork, Code). Joining us today means being on the inside of that shift. By joining the Thynk Team, you will recognize yourself in our values : Ambition - We think big and act boldly. We’re organized to move fast, scale quickly and set industry standards. Care - We believe in the power of being surrounded by a diverse international team of all-stars, who are caring about each other and our customers. We prioritize balance and wellbeing. Innovation - We look at the big picture to develop new solutions never done before. We believe in asking questions, challenging, and rarely taking no for an answer. We encourage our customers to do the same, and partner with them to bring forth this change. Service - We develop services for people whose businesses are, above all, about quality of service. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and our technology is simply a means of helping them deliver exceptional service to their customers. 📣 About the role We are on a mission to revolutionize the 2T$ hospitality industry and to become a new vertical SaaS giant. As a rapidly growing SaaS company, with high-performance teams and a collaborative culture, where employee innovation and ideas are encouraged, this position is vital to Thynk's success. As Thynk scales globally, a growing part of our product lives outside the core platform. Our edge apps are the applications we build and run on AWS: web applications for hotel and venue teams, portals for their guests and partners, content generation, identity, and whatever the next opportunity turns out to be. Ops Portal, e-Proposals and Identity Center are the first few. There will be many more, and some of them do not exist as ideas yet. What we build there is deliberately not fixed. It follows wherever the product needs to go next. This is the fastest-moving part of our engineering organization. New apps get conceived, built and put in front of real hotel and venue teams in weeks. It will be your mission to design, build and evolve these applications end to end: data model, backend, interface, deployment and everything after. You will decide what good looks like in a young codebase, and you will live with those decisions. On the technical side, the stack is Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript, running on AWS . You will contribute to architectural decisions from the start, and help define how we build and operate a growing family of applications at scale. To be straight with you about the first months: you will start on the applications that are already live and the customers depending on them, so you learn the stack and the domain on real problems. From there you take on new applications of your own, and we expect that to happen within your first year. 🧑‍💻 As our Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Thynk, you will: Contribute as an individual contributor in a strong, fully remote team and be a team player in a highly collaborative environment. You will build and operate the applications that sit at the edge of our platform, closest to the people who use it every day . You will be responsible for: Owning applications end to end: data model, API, interface, deployment and production support. Building with Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript on AWS. Standing up entirely new applications from a rough product idea, and making the early architectural calls. Designing multi-tenant data and identity patterns that hold up across many customer organizations. Working directly with product and customer-facing teams to turn real operational problems into shipped software, often within days. Producing the large majority of your code through AI-assisted workflows , and taking complete ownership of the result: correctness, security, performance and maintainability. Raising the bar for how AI-assisted work is specified, reviewed and verified across the team. Debugging and resolving production issues yourself , with a strong sense of accountability. ⚡ How we build Rather than hiring a large team, we hire very few engineers and give each one a scope that would normally belong to several. That only works if everyone here is exceptional, so the bar is high and we would rather leave a role open than lower it. We build AI-first. Our engineers do not write code by hand as the default. They direct, review and verify, and they get a multiple of conventional output as a result. Most teams now use AI somewhere. The harder part is knowing that what shipped is correct, and that is the work here: running several agents in parallel while holding the whole picture, building the internal tooling and context that make our stack legible to a model, and treating verification (tests, evals, review habits) as a first-class discipline. We give you the tools and the budget. We expect you to be further ahead in six months than the industry is, and to bring the rest of us with you. 🍭 About you In this role, you will be a great fit if you: Have 5+ years building and operating production web applications. Are comfortable across the full stack: TypeScript and a modern React framework on the front, Node on the back, relational data underneath. We care that you can reason about the system, not that you have memorized the framework. AI covers the syntax. Have shipped on AWS and understand the trade-offs of serverless and managed services. Can design and evolve a data model, not just consume an API. Already work AI-first, and can point to a real system you delivered that way. We will ask where the model was wrong and how you caught it. Hold a very high standard without being managed to it. This is a small team with a large surface area and nowhere to hide. You'll likely thrive here if you: Would rather ship three things this week than plan one for next quarter. Are opinionated about product, not only about code. Enjoy being the person who owns the whole thing. Get genuinely curious when a new model or tool comes out. Nice to have: Experience with hospitality systems (PMS, sales and catering, booking engines). Multi-tenant SaaS, per-tenant data isolation, or SSO federation experience. Experience with Salesforce as a system of record. Experience building internal developer tooling. If you're excited about the problems we're solving but don't meet every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you. 📍 Location We are a remote-first company and hire where we already have a strong engineering presence . For this role, that means candidates based in India or Pakistan. ✨ What you can expect : 📺 We will provide the best IT equipment of your choice (Apple or Windows) 💸 We are remote-first : As a fully remote team of repeat entrepreneurs, we value communication, teamwork, and transparency above all. 🌎 Global-first : You will join an international team with 21 nationalities on 3 continents : we organize monthly meetings and yearly events to gather all the team together. English is our first language . 🚀 We are people-first : We care about our people (team members, clients, and partners), we value work-life balance, and consider any request to achieve fullfillment at work 👀 Our hiring process Initial interview with Swarnadeep, our most senior engineer in the region: A first deep dive on your engineering experience and how you work. This is where we set the bar, and it is a high one. Interview with Louise (HR) : A conversation focused on culture, values, and what it's like to work at Thynk. Practical case (at home): A real edge app problem, designed to reflect the kind of work you would do here. You are expected to use AI tooling. We care more about clear thinking, trade-offs and pragmatic solutions than about perfect answers. Final panel with Aard-Jan (CTO) and the team Architecture, AWS and product judgement, plus a proper discussion of how you work with AI. Expect to go deep on your workflow, where you have seen models fail, and how you would raise the bar for the rest of us.
