Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer

About the role

Reshape Digital is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join one of our international engineering partnerships in the railway industry. You will work on a large scale digital platform supporting critical railway infrastructure operations across Europe, built on .NET, React and Microsoft Azure. The role includes regular travel to the client's offices in Europe, so you get real exposure to how the project runs.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain reliable, well tested features across a full stack .NET and React application

• Design and implement REST APIs and integrate with different data stores

• Contribute to cloud native components running on Microsoft Azure

• Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices, including blue/green deployments

• Investigate performance issues and bugs, and turn them into concrete fixes

• Collaborate with central engineering teams to raise the bar on DevOps maturity across the project

What we're looking for

• Strong experience with .NET development, including modern .NET Core/.NET 8+

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud native services (e.g. Event Hub, Cosmos DB, Functions)

• Experience working with React

• Comfortable working with microservices architecture and clean code practices

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

• Fluent English, spoken and written (B2 or above)

• Open to regular travel to client offices in Europe

• Initial 24 month contract, with strong possibility of extension

Nice to have

• Experience with unit testing frameworks and a habit of writing testable code

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

• Experience working in Scrum or SAFe delivery teams

• Curiosity for AI assisted development tools
