We have an immediate need for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer at our Florence office. The successful candidate will join a high-performing R&D team focused on significant platform growth and architectural evolution, working in cross-functional teams to expand and improve our award-winning SAAS Fleet Management products. Lead product feature design and implementation, taking ownership of complex components independently while collaborating closely with product managers and your team. Architect and implement changes and new features in a manner which promotes highly efficient, reusable, and performant code. Drive code quality across the team by conducting rigorous peer code reviews and steering robust quality assurance and testing strategies. Own the investigation and resolution of critical technical issues across the full development lifecycle, including deep-dives into production systems. Champion engineering velocity by safely integrating AI code assistants into the development workflow, ensuring AI-generated code meets strict security, performance, and architectural standards. What we are looking for... You'll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience. Excellent understanding of algorithm design, implementation and testing. Excellent knowledge of OOP, software design and web architectures. Knowledge of Software Lifecycle Management (writing unit and integration tests, monitoring, profiling, etc.). Good knowledge of versioning tools. Advanced experience in developing distributed services and RESTful APIs (C#/.NET preferred). Experience in developing modern client-side applications (Angular preferred). Knowledge of databases' design, development and optimization. Proficiency in leveraging AI code assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to optimize development workflows, refactor legacy code, and drive team-wide engineering velocity. Willingness to join a fast-paced team, working in a CI/CD environment following agile methodologies (Kanban). Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation. Fluency in English. Even better if you have: Experience with Cloud Computing (AWS preferred). Experience working with CICD pipelines and test automation. Experience with monitoring tools (such as NewRelic, Grafana, CloudWatch…) Good verbal and written communication skills working within a distributed development team. Why Verizon?
