Senior Functional Analyst (Mainframe)

What You'll do: - Perform functional analysis and prepare test plans for projects related to the Credit and Debit Card Management System (SAC in Cobol/CICS) within Agile methodologies; - Identify and evaluate solution alternatives, selecting the most suitable option; - Develop and validate functional software specifications, components, interfaces, and related features , ensuring compliance with existing systems, standards, and principles; - Define, execute, and monitor functional tests , supporting end users during software acceptance; - Assist in the diagnosis of incidents and propose improvements or corrections; - Monitor and control assigned activities, ensuring successful completion of team deliverables; - Promote effective communication and coordination with all stakeholders; - Proactively suggest improvements and optimizations to enhance project success; - Hybrid Work Model. What You Are: - Minimum of 5 years of experience with Credit and Debit Card Management Systems (preferably SAC); - Minimum of 5 years of experience with the SIBS Multibanco protocol (GRT transactions, H-to-H, multibanco clearing); - Knowledge of bank accounting , particularly the impact of card operations on accounting processes; - Higher education degree in Engineering or similar; - Strong team spirit , collaboration, and interpersonal skills; - Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; - Excellent communication abilities; - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence); - Essential technical expertise (10+ years): COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, Control-M, Java; - Preferred knowledge: EDz (development framework), ALM Quality Center, BMC Remedy; - Methodologies and tools used in banking environments (e.g., CMMI, LEAN IT ).
