In this pivotal role, you will oversee the accounting and reporting for multiple fund entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering timely financial information to stakeholders. Your expertise will enable us to drive efficiencies in our accounting/reporting processes while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity. Responsibilities Manage the full cycle of fund accounting, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards while preparing and reviewing financial reports Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to facilitate timely completion Develop and monitor accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and financial controls Oversee the valuation process of portfolio investments and ensure accurate calculation of net asset values (NAV) Provide analytical support for fund performance reporting and develop insights for management decision-making Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends. Required and Preferred Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within an asset management or financial services background in an Alternative Investment environment. Salary : $75,900.00 - $141,900.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
