Within Domestic Transportation business area, we are looking to hire a highly skilled and motivated Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a solid background to join an amazing team located in Madrid. If you are passionate about geotechnical engineering and eager to work on high-profile international and local projects, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be an integral part of our Ground Engineering team, working on a variety of exciting projects and collaborating with experts from around the world. Key Responsibilities: Lead and organize geotechnical work for team members and guide them through complex tasks. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, if needed. Promote geotechnical investigations and assessments for diverse projects, including geotechnical characterization and analysis. Develop geotechnical designs (including calculations and detailed drawings) for excavations, retaining structures, earthworks, deep and shallow foundations, stability, and settlement analysis. Experience in soil improvement and seismic design. Experience in off shore geotechnical design. Experience in tender process from the geotechnical perspective. Collaborate with teams across different geographies to deliver outstanding results. Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Mining Engineering. Other Geotechnical Master are highly appreciated. Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. Advanced knowledge of Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking). Other languages added are highly valued.
