Senior GL Accountant (Mid-shift)

About the Team & Business Line: Citco Bank provides fully integrated transaction, deposit, foreign exchange and credit facilities to our Fund Services and Governance Services clients. As a core member of our Compliance team you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational risks and ensure our clients experience seamless delivery acrossbanking services. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes within deadlines Investigate and resolve GL discrepancies and variances Maintain fixed asset registers and intercompany reconciliations Assist with preparation of financial reports and management accounts Support internal and external audit requests with documentation Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and relevant regulatory standards Identify and recommend process improvements for GL efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. AP, AR, Tax) to resolve discrepancies Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager, particularly during month-end, year-end close, and audit periods. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred 2–4 years of relevant GL accounting experience Experience in a global financial services organization advantageous Technical Skills Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation templates) Familiarity with financial reporting tools/dashboards Core Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Analytical and problem-solving skills Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines Clear written and verbal communication Team collaboration and stakeholder management Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment Our Benefits Your well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
