As a Senior Grants Analyst at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the grant administration process, ensuring compliance, and provide insightful analysis to support organizational funding initiatives. What You Will Do: Your experience in site start-up and activation will be key in delivering high-quality outcomes and mentoring colleagues. Key responsibilities include: Managing and overseeing the full lifecycle of grants, including application review, compliance monitoring, reporting, and financial tracking. Conducting thorough analysis of grant proposals and budgets, assessing feasibility and alignment with organizational goals and funding requirements. Ensuring compliance with grant regulations, donor requirements, and internal policies, and implementing best practices in grant management. Preparing detailed reports and presentations on grant performance, financial status, and compliance, and providing recommendations for improvements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, program managers, and external stakeholders, to support grant-related activities and initiatives. Monitoring and analyzing grant trends, funding opportunities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and enhance grant management practices. Providing mentorship and training to junior grants analysts and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the grants team. Your Profile: You will have a strong foundation in site start-up and activation, with the experience to work independently and guide others. Required qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline Extensive experience in grants management and analysis, with a proven track record of overseeing and optimizing grant administration processes. Strong understanding of grant regulations, donor requirements, and compliance standards. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to review complex grant proposals, assess budgets, and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in grants management software and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is an advantage. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple grants and priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
