Your Role: Turning Insight into Strategy
As a Senior Group Business Controller, you will play a vital role within the Business Control team, transforming financial data into actionable insights. You will support the planning, reporting, and analysis of Kiwa’s financial performance, helping to drive sustainable growth across our international operations.
Working within a small team of 4 FTE and as part of our broader Corporate Finance organization (25+ colleagues), you’ll collaborate closely with the regional/local finance teams, and with local management across the globe. You will report to the Head of Business Control. As a senior member of the team, you act as a trusted advisor to Kiwa's leadership and provide strategic decision support, with the seniority to step in for the Head when needed.
Your Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Group Business Controller, you will support Kiwa’s performance monitoring and contribute to the enhancement of its financial processes. Your key tasks will include:
- Strategic Decision Making: Partner with the CFO, Corporate Finance Director, board members and country leadership by providing actionable insights that shape business strategy
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Together with your team, assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and financial modelling to produce actionable insights for Kiwa’s management
- Management Reporting: Support monthly financial reporting and quarterly forecasting cycles, by retrieving data, analyzing key trends and providing insights into the key performance drivers
- Business Partnering: Act as the financial partner for countries and other regions, supporting them on planning and reporting
- Investment Review: Evaluate and challenge business cases and CapEx proposals to ensure financial soundness and strategic alignment prior to executive approval.
- KPI Development & Tracking: Develop meaningful KPIs and deliver fact-based analysis to monitor and improve business performance. Support in harmonizing KPIs across regions, by devising a policy, aligning definitions and preparing dashboards for monitoring
- Working Capital Monitoring: Support analysis of key drivers (e.g., WIP, aged receivables) and collaborate with local teams to improve cash flow and capital efficiency
- Risk & Opportunity Identification: Identify financial risks, uncover opportunities, and drive improvements in reporting and business control processes. Improve the data and reporting structure to improve reporting quality, while providing a scalable platform for analysis.
- BI & Tooling Enhancement: Contribute to building a scalable Business Intelligence environment and support the development of finance IT tooling tailored to Kiwa’s needs. Help maintain and improve reporting tools, dashboards and templates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with teams across Accounting, Tax, Internal Control, and other finance disciplines to ensure cohesion and accuracy.

Your qualifications:
- Education: University degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field, preferably at Master’s level.
- Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in FP&A, business control, or financial advisory (e.g. M&A, corporate finance or Transaction Services) in a dynamic and international environment.
- Languages: Fluent in English. Dutch or other languages are a plus.
- Technical skills: Strong financial modeling capabilities, with an interest in BI, reporting tools, and finance IT tooling.
- Soft skills: Solution-oriented, communicative, accountable, and flexible. Able to operate under pressure and manage multiple priorities with a collaborative spirit.
- Location: Must be based in the Netherlands with a valid work permit and willingness to travel internationally.
