About the role We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to partner with leaders and managers across our outreach services to deliver strategic people solutions that support organisational priorities, workforce capability, and business performance. This role plays a critical part in aligning people practices with operational and strategic objectives to enable high-performing teams and positive workforce outcomes. As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance across employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, leadership support, organisational change, and employee engagement across our geographically dispersed footprint. You will work closely with leaders predominantly on a virtual basis to build capability, drive people initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies, and contemporary HR best practice. Our workforce is diverse and passionate, comprising both clinical and support-based caregivers, including mental health clinicians, health professionals, youth workers, support workers, and administration professionals employed under a range of industrial instruments. No two days are the same, making this a varied, dynamic, and rewarding role. The role is offered on a permanent, part-time basis (30.4 hours per week) and provides a unique opportunity to influence organisational outcomes while supporting services that address unmet community need across Australia and Timor-Leste. Key responsibilities Partner with people leaders and managers to deliver strategic people solutions that support business performance and workforce capability. Provide expert advice across employee relations, including performance management, workplace investigations, conduct matters, grievances, and conflict resolution. Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, and resourcing strategies to meet current and future workforce needs. Coach and develop leaders to strengthen people management capability, team performance, and employee engagement. Drive initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, organisational values, diversity, inclusion, and psychological safety. Support organisational change initiatives through effective consultation, communication, and stakeholder engagement. Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement activities that enhance people practices, processes, and service delivery. Analyse workforce data and trends to provide insights that support informed decision-making, employee retention, and organisational performance. Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you will bring tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, together with substantial HR business partnering experience in a complex organisation. You will possess strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices, employment legislation, industrial relations, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning, with the ability to align people strategies to business objectives and drive meaningful outcomes. A trusted and influential HR professional, you will have a proven ability to: Coach and develop leaders to build people management capability. Navigate complex employee relations matters with confidence and professionalism. Drive workforce planning, organisational change, culture, and engagement initiatives. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders and executive stakeholders. Analyse workforce data and translate insights into practical people strategies. Balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational support in a fast-paced environment. We can offer you Salary: $128,800 to $143,100 (pro-rata), plus 12% superannuation Permanent Part Time position (30.4 hours per week) offering flexible start and finish times, including the option for school-hours arrangements or spread your hours across either a four- or five-day work week.
