Typical projects include a mix of on-premise and cloud work, so no two days are the same. You might be configuring new cloud services, migrating Microsoft 365 environments, deploying or upgrading virtual servers, installing and securing firewalls, setting up VPNs, or implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions. There’s plenty of variety, and you’ll often be hands-on with new technologies, helping clients modernise their systems and improve reliability, performance, and security. Qualifications - Relevant networking, infrastructure and Microsoft qualifications (CCNA, JNCP, MCSA, VCP) Microsoft 365/Azure - Managing Microsoft Azure & Office 365 including Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, Exchange Online/Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams, Intune/Endpoint Manage Cloud - Experience with public and private cloud such as AWS and Azure Virtualisation - Maintaining and updating VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments, including replication and failover VOIP - Experience supporting FreePBX, Mitel, Gamma, Skype/Teams VOIP systems Security - Experience with MDM, MFA, Email Filtering, Next Generation firewalls and antivirus solutions.
