Internal Grade E/EB9 Experian Cyber Fusion Centre are looking for a Senior Insider Risk Specialist to support the global Insider Risk Management Program by advancing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) governance, business engagement, and insider risk detection capabilities. As part of the Cyber Fusion Centre, you will partner with business units, DLP Engineering, security teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure DLP controls align with governance standards, business requirements, and organizational risk tolerance while supporting the continuous improvement of the Insider Risk Program. This is a hybrid, Nottingham or London based role (40% in the office) reporting to the Insider Risk Director. Summary of Primary Responsibilities Partner with DLP Engineering to review and approve Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, ensuring alignment with Insider Risk governance standards, business requirements, and organizational risk tolerance. Review and approve DLP exception requests, assessing business justification and residual risk while escalating complex or high-risk requests as appropriate. Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities to improve DLP coverage and strengthen data protection controls. Develop and enhance insider risk detection use cases, analytics, dashboards, and reporting using DLP, SIEM, UEBA, and related technologies. Support insider risk investigations by providing DLP subject matter expertise, policy guidance, reporting, and technical analysis. Develop program metrics, documentation, and reporting to measure the effectiveness and maturity of the Insider Risk and DLP Governance Programs. Analyze DLP trends, exception requests, and emerging insider risk patterns to develop targeted awareness, guidance, and training materials that promote secure data handling and reduce organizational risk. Support governance activities by assessing controls, identifying gaps, and recommending risk-based improvements in collaboration with the Business Engagement Officer. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in data loss prevention, insider risk, cybersecurity or a related security discipline. Experience working with DLP technologies and familiarity with SIEM, UEBA, or similar security platforms. Knowledge of insider risk, data protection, cybersecurity governance, and risk management practices. Experience evaluating business risk and applying governance principles to security controls, policy reviews, and exception management. Experience to collaborating effectively across technical and business teams. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and visualization tools Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCITP, GCIH, GIAC, or ITPM.
