What you’ll do Your key accountabilities will include: Lead and support end-to-end audits across the business. Manage reviews from planning and risk assessment through fieldwork, reporting, and agreement of actions. Deliver high-quality audit outcomes within the agreed scope while demonstrating flexibility when needed. Draft and agree audit reports, clearly articulating risks, impacts and root causes, and developing practical actions with business partners. Use data analytics (DA) to enhance audit insight, working with the team’s IA DA expert. Engage business partners at all levels, building strong relationships, presenting findings and driving improvements. Contribute to audit planning, methodology evolution, and continuous improvement. Maintain quality standards and deliver against KPIs, contributing to the effective delivery of the Internal Audit plan. Work collaboratively with the risk team and other second line functions to bring insights and enhance the quality of audit work undertaken. Coach and mentor internal auditors, supporting their development. Who you are Your skills and experience will include: Excellent Internal Audit experience across a wide variety of industries, ideally with a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or IIA) or QBE. Strong understanding of risk and control methodologies. Experience or interest in data analytics. Background in retail, programme assurance, or multi-channel environments is a plus, but not a requirement. Willingness to travel occasionally (5–10%). What’s in it for you?
