What you will do As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will support management and the Board by assessing risk management, internal controls, and governance across financial, operational, compliance, and technology-enabled environments. You will contribute to audits of critical operations, financial and compliance processes, and the systems and data that support them. You will also assess whether key controls are well designed and operating effectively across these areas. More specifically, you will: develop and maintain proactive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders by understanding their objectives and risk exposures and supporting constructive, value-added audit outcomes perform sound preliminary risk and control assessments in line with direction provided by Audit management develop engagement objectives, scope, and audit programs based on an understanding of business conditions, risks, processes, and the systems that support them apply a variety of audit practices to obtain sufficient and appropriate audit evidence use sound judgment and business knowledge to identify root causes and formulate recommendations that improve risk management, controls, and governance leverage AI, data analytics and/or visualization techniques, where appropriate, to enhance audit insights, efficiency and communication plan and prepare audit communications with input from senior colleagues, including briefing decks, dashboards, audit reports, and practical recommendations for different audiences monitor external trends such as emerging risks, technologies, regulatory expectations, and audit practices, and identify opportunities to improve audit products and services contribute to ongoing quality assurance and continuous improvement practices within the Audit team, including refining audit methodologies, templates, and ways of working to enhance consistency, efficiency, and value to stakeholders What you need to succeed The strengths that make someone successful in this role can show up in different ways. You have good knowledge of internal control, risk management, governance, and audit frameworks, including COSO and other relevant financial, operational, compliance, or technology frameworks. You are driven to deliver high-quality work on time. You bring critical thinking, strong analytical skills, and a continuous-improvement mindset. You can conceptualize and solve problems, manage multiple assignments, and communicate effectively while building strong working relationships. Nice-to-have CIA, CPA, CISA or similar designation Experience in financial, operational, compliance, performance, or advisory audits Experience working in complex, cross-functional, or technology-enabled environments Experience with process improvement, technology-related controls, cyber risk, data risk, or other specialized risk areas Experience using data analytics, AI and visualization tools, such as Power BI or IDEA Your education and experience The position requires a relevant university degree and a minimum of three years of recent and relevant work experience, with demonstrated progression in responsibility, judgement, and complexity of work in compliance, audit, risk, financial, operational, and/or technology-enabled environments. Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $94,193 to $110,816 (job grade 16) The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 5 to 7% of your base salary.
