You may be our new Senior Integration Consultant that brings strong integration developer knowledge with focus on SAP CPI and the SAP BTP platform The role as Senior IT Integration Consultant Nilfisk is looking for a passionate and technically strong Senior Integration Developer to join Nilfisk’s IT Integration Services team. You will be part of a global integration function and work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across countries, primarily from our IT Innovation and Business Services Hub in Budapest, Hungary. As a Senior Integration Consultant, you will design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and support integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP landscapes, with a strong focus on SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Integration Suite, and the SAP Business Technology Platform. Nilfisk uses SAP Cloud Integration as a core integration technology and continues to expand its use of the SAP BTP platform to enable scalable, secure, and reusable integration capabilities. Together with business and IT stakeholders, you will translate integration needs into robust technical solutions, support continuous improvement, and contribute to standards, governance, and reusable integration patterns. You will work closely with your Integration Services colleagues and the wider Global IT Business Service organization, contributing to a stable, modern, and business-critical integration landscape. This position is based in our Hub in Budapest and reporting to the Head of Integration services – Global IT. You will be part of a team of six specialist all based in the office in Budapest and part of a bigger international team driving the Data and Analytics area globally. You will also have ongoing collaboration with external consultants. We use Microsoft Teams for most meetings hence limited travels are expected. Essential Responsibilities Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into integration designs and development tasks Design, build, configure, test, deploy, and document integration flows in SAP Cloud Integration / SAP Integration Suite Develop integrations across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid landscapes using relevant adapters, APIs, mappings, and security mechanisms Work with SAP BTP services, connectivity, destinations, certificates, monitoring, and tenant administration activities relevant to integration delivery Contribute to API-led and event-driven integration patterns, including API reuse, interface governance, and integration lifecycle management Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for integration incidents, service requests, monitoring alerts, and operational issues Ensure high-quality documentation, handover to support, and adherence to integration standards and best practices Support stable and well-performing operations through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and support colleagues Qualifications to Succeed in the Position 5+ years’ experience as a Senior integration developer, technical consultant, or similar role Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration / SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite is mandatory Experience working with the SAP BTP platform, including subaccounts, connectivity, destinations, security concepts, monitoring, and role assignments Development experience with integration flows, message mappings, Groovy scripting, XSLT, XML, JSON, and reusable integration components Experience with protocols and adapters such as AS2, REST, SOAP, HTTPS, OData, IDoc, SFTP, and JMS Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios and common ERP processes Understanding of API management, authentication, certificates, OAuth, basic integration security, and error handling ABAP development experience is an advantage General knowledge of middleware, integration architecture, and cloud-native integration patterns Structured, detail-oriented, and committed to documentation, quality, and operational stability Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in global and multi-cultural organizations Good English language skills, both written and spoken What we can offer An exciting role in IT with high business impact Flexible working hours and Hybrid work with Home Office opportunity Being part of a dynamic multinational environment where people development matters, new ideas are welcomed, and everyone is encouraged to make an impact A growing business where individuals can develop and grow together with the company Training and learning opportunities to support your professional development Complimentary coffee, tea and fresh fruit throughout the week Nilfisk Health Program including mental health support, sport activities and regular health checks Cafeteria and commuting allowance Interested?
