• Job description
• Design and implement backends for DX / core-system rebuild projects with major Japanese enterprises
• Own microservice architecture decisions on Spring Boot stacks
• Performance tuning, code reviews and mentoring junior engineers
• Drive technology selection and standardization with Japanese architects
• Requirements
• 5+ years of Java (8 / 11 / 17) production experience
• Hands-on Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA / Hibernate
• Experience tuning PostgreSQL / MySQL at scale
• Built and operated microservices with messaging (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
• AWS (ECS, RDS, Lambda) or equivalent cloud operations
• JLPT N3+ a plus (not required)
