Senior Java Software Engineer

As a Senior Back-End Java Software Engineer, you will contribute to a modern microservices ecosystem that powers audience management and messaging capabilities used at scale, working with a globally distributed team and cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance backend services and features using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture
• Take ownership of end-to-end software delivery, ensuring scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions that support business goals
• Collaborate closely with engineers, QAs, architects, and stakeholders across distributed teams to deliver high-quality products
• Implement product lifecycle activities, including solution design, development, integration testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
• Build and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs while ensuring seamless connectivity with internal and third-party systems
• Optimize SQL-intensive workflows and database interactions to improve performance, stability, and efficiency
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automate delivery processes, and support engineering best practices throughout development
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and proactively propose improvements that enhance product quality and user experience
  
  
  

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, and related technologies
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases and developing SQL-heavy applications
• Practical experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, API integrations, Maven, JUnit, and Mockito
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools for modern software delivery
• Experience working with Redis and Java 21 or Java 11+ environments
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based development is an advantage
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency for effective communication in an international environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and consistently deliver high-quality results
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, strong analytical thinking, customer focus, problem-solving, debugging, and a willingness to learn new technologies
