Function Digital Workplace Solutions Role family M365 Productivity / Enterprise Collaboration / Low-Code and AI Enablement Location Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Reporting line Director, Digital Workplace Solutions Employment type Full-time Position Purpose The Senior Manager - Digital Workplace Productivity Solutions leads the strategy, governance, delivery and continuous improvement of Wabtec's enterprise productivity capabilities across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot and related collaboration services. The role enables employees and business functions to work more effectively through secure, scalable and user-centred digital solutions. The position combines technology leadership, service ownership, governance, business engagement and value realisation. It establishes practical guardrails that enable responsible innovation, improves platform health and adoption, and translates technology investments into measurable productivity, quality, risk and cost outcomes. ROLE MANDATE Enable innovation at Wabtec scale while ensuring security, compliance, supportability, lifecycle ownership and business value. Key Accountabilities1. Digital Workplace Strategy and Product Leadership Define and execute the productivity solutions roadmap in alignment with Wabtec business priorities and Digital Workplace strategy. Own the product direction and lifecycle for Microsoft 365 productivity, collaboration, low-code and AI-enabled capabilities. Identify opportunities to simplify work, improve employee experience and accelerate business outcomes through modern workplace technologies. Translate technical capabilities, risks and investment needs into clear business language for senior stakeholders. 2. Microsoft 365 Productivity and Collaboration Services Lead the governance, optimisation and evolution of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and related M365 productivity services. Drive information lifecycle practices covering site ownership, metadata, retention, confidentiality, sharing and content hygiene. Guide service improvements, platform changes, migrations and modernisation initiatives with appropriate change, risk and support planning. Partner with operations and support teams to improve service reliability, knowledge, self-service and user experience. 3. Power Platform Center of Excellence Establish and mature the Power Platform CoE operating model, including demand intake, prioritisation, solution classification and governance reviews. Define enterprise standards for environment strategy, DLP, connectors, security roles, Dataverse, application lifecycle management, pipelines and release controls. Enable citizen developers and professional delivery teams through clear guardrails, reusable standards, coaching and community practices. Drive lifecycle management for applications, flows and environments, including ownership validation, inactive or orphaned asset review, retention and retirement. Support a scalable delivery model for business-critical Power Apps and Power Automate solutions. 4. Copilot CoE and Agentic Governance Lead the governance model for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and enterprise productivity agents. Oversee structured use-case intake, technical and business fitment, approval gates, proof-of-concept validation, production readiness and ongoing monitoring. Establish controls for agent ownership, controlled sharing, access, lifecycle, cost consumption and responsible deployment. Drive licence allocation and periodic review based on use-case need, adoption and demonstrated value. Partner with Security, Privacy, Legal, Architecture and business stakeholders to enable responsible AI adoption. 5. Governance, Security and Compliance Build governance frameworks that balance employee innovation with enterprise control and accountability. Partner with Cybersecurity, Data Protection, Compliance and Architecture teams to embed security and compliance requirements into platform design and operations. Ensure solutions follow Wabtec standards for access control, data classification, DLP, ownership, auditability and supportability. Maintain clear decision rights, approval paths, RACI and exception-management processes. 6. Adoption, Change and Business Value Drive adoption through targeted communications, learning pathways, communities, office hours and business engagement. Define and report value measures across time saved, task automation, ticket deflection, manual-step reduction, process standardisation, quality and risk reduction. Monitor active use, customer satisfaction, platform health and solution outcomes to guide prioritisation and continuous improvement. Develop leadership-ready dashboards, success stories and recommendations that demonstrate value and areas requiring intervention. 7. Service, Financial and Vendor Management Own service performance, risks, roadmap dependencies and improvement actions within the productivity solutions portfolio. Optimise licensing, capacity and AI consumption through transparent utilisation monitoring, forecasting and cost accountability. Manage strategic relationships with Microsoft, delivery partners and service providers to accelerate capability, quality and value. Ensure vendors and partners follow Wabtec architecture, security, delivery and governance expectations. 8. People and Stakeholder Leadership Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team spanning platform governance, solution delivery and CoE capabilities. Create alignment across Digital Workplace, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, business functions and technology partners. Lead cross-functional forums, resolve priorities and remove delivery barriers through structured decision-making. Promote an inclusive, accountable and continuous-improvement culture. Experience and QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Substantial experience leading enterprise Digital Workplace, Microsoft 365, collaboration, automation or productivity solution portfolios. Demonstrated experience establishing governance, operating models or Centers of Excellence for Power Platform, Copilot or comparable enterprise platforms. Experience leading cross-functional transformation, service improvement and adoption initiatives in a complex global organisation. Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate technology strategy into business outcomes, investment choices and measurable value. Experience managing technology partners, delivery teams, budgets, licences or consumption-based services. Preferred Relevant Microsoft certifications across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, security, compliance or Copilot technologies. Experience with Agile, product management, IT service management and structured change management practices. Experience with enterprise AI governance, FinOps or chargeback/showback models for consumption-based services. Experience operating in a manufacturing, transportation or industrial enterprise environment.
