What You’ll Do As a Senior / Lead Piping Engineer in our Mining & Resources group in Brisbane you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind. You will: Deliver high-quality piping engineering solutions across major mining and resources projects. Lead projects from concept through to detailed design, providing technical direction and achieving exceptional client outcomes. Apply your expertise in piping systems, pipelines, pumped systems, hydraulic analysis and mechanical design to solve complex engineering challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, practical and commercially sound solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing engineering standards, processes and technical excellence across the business. Support, mentor and develop emerging engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. What you’ll bring Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrated experience in piping, pipelines, pumped systems, hydraulic analysis or stress engineering. RPEQ registration (or the ability to obtain it). Experience delivering projects within the oil & gas, energy, mining, industrial processing or resources sectors. Strong technical expertise with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges. The ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Experience mentoring and supporting engineers throughout their professional development. Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards and engineering best practices. Experience with CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, NozzlePRO or similar piping engineering software. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence technical decisions and project outcomes.
