Senior Linux Engineer Senior Linux Engineer Hybrid set-up (2x WFH, 3x RTO/week) | BGC, Taguig About the Role Join our Client's Global Linux Team to support and manage a large-scale Red Hat Linux estate across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. You'll provide hands-on technical support, drive infrastructure improvements, and collaborate closely with project and operations teams - ideally within a financial services setting. What You'll Do Administer and support Unix/Linux server infrastructure (OS and hardware), including incident response and remediation Deliver root cause analysis and solutions for performance and failure issues Collaborate with project teams to transition new servers, tools, and initiatives into production Review and improve the Linux estate's effectiveness, standards, and documentation (including DR) Support the company's core file transfer system (JScape) Drive reference architecture and best practices to meet current and future business needs Essential Requirements Expert-level Linux knowledge (Red Hat and SUSE MLM), including server/storage architecture in financial services Extensive experience supporting Unix/Linux infrastructure at scale Strong virtualization knowledge AWS server workload management experience Bash scripting and/or Ansible proficiency Security-focused mindset (hardening, vulnerability prevention) Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking Proven mentoring experience with technical and non-technical colleagues Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills Collaborative, self-motivated, and service-oriented Nice to Have VMware, SUSE MLM patching, ITIL/ServiceNow, Confluence/Jira AD Integration via REALMD AI tools experience for process improvement Hardware knowledge (HP, Cisco UCS Blade) Protocols: NTP/PTP, SFTP, SSH Department Client Opportunities Locations BGC, Taguig, Philippines Remote status Hybrid Employment type Full-time About Cloud Bridge Tech Recruitment As part of Cloud Bridge, an AWS Premier Partner, we bring deep cloud expertise into every hiring conversation.
