What you'll do Docusign is looking for an amazing Senior Software Engineer to join our Search Platform team. This position will be part of a team working on an architectural shift that will allow us to scale to meet the next 10x of growth. We need back end engineers to build next generation software and services that make up the agreement cloud and be able to work with Product Managers to build and ship customer scenarios that are used by 100s of enterprises. This position will demand critical thinking skills, ability to quickly understand existing systems and the ability to work in agile, fast paced environments. The ability to take smart and educated risks is essential to the success of this position. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering - AI Search Platform. Responsibility Solve problems in scale and build fault tolerant systems Develop testable, high-quality, and ship-ready code with ample test coverage Work with Product Management and other developers to understand and translate engineering requirements into design requirements and provide estimates Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and development and release of products Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience Experience building/consuming RESTful and gRPC based web-services Experience working with C#, .Net Core, SQL Database and Designing Large scale distributed systems Experience with cloud deployment technologies, such as Kubernetes or Docker containers Experience developing software solutions using object-oriented methodologies and design patterns Preferred Experience with Lucene or Elastic Search technologies Experience with microservice architecture Experience shipping highly available, scalable service on Azure Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git) build process, testing, and code release Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment Agile and Test-driven development methodologies Ability and desire to move across technology stacks Passion for working on a highly available site Passion to learn new software technologies Open minded, forward thinking, and passionate about great software Life at DocuSign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
