About the job | Te Mahi We are seeking a fixed term Senior Management Accountant for a 3–6-month period, who has a passion for healthcare service, strong communication skills communicating financials clearly and pragmatically at all levels, including non-financial stakeholders. Collaborating with the financial team supporting strategic financial reporting and turning financials into high-quality insights for senior leaders. This role reports to the CEO and is based in the Ascot Business Park at Greenlane Auckland offering a hybrid working arrangement of up to 2 days per week from home. Key Responsibilities Build strong, collaborative relationships with department heads and executive stakeholders, translating technical financial details into clear, meaningful insights. play a key role in month-end reporting, reconciliations, financial analysis, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business units. Work with the CEO on annual budgeting processes, rolling forecasts and long-term financial modelling. Deliver robust monthly management accounting packs, variance analysis, and strategic performance metrics. Ensure financial practices align with relevant government agency contracts/frameworks and funding structure. About You CA qualified (or equivalent) 3+ years' senior account experience Strong month-end and reporting capability Advanced Excel skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to comfortably present financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and senior management. Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated experience in a management accounting role within a health service organisation, (or similar service industry framework).
