Senior Manager - Application Engineering

What you'll do Application Engineering Manager will lead a group of engineers across multiple domains, supporting Docusign GTM, Commerce, Finance, Integration, and HRIS. You’ll oversee a team of developers, specializing in Salesforce, Zuora, Oracle ERP, Mulesoft, OIC, Workday, and CPQ. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications. Responsibility Be responsible for leading a team of engineers and developers in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications Be responsible for ensuring that the solutions are aligned with the organization's business objectives and strategies Be accountable for all contractors in the team Manage the deployment and integration of solutions, and ensuring the quality and performance of all systems Be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors Be familiar with Salesforce Platform, Salesforce data loader Visualforce, Java, REST/SOAP APIs, GitHub, Apex, Eclipse, Lightning, and Source control Be familiar with Finance Oracle ERP platform, including EPM, advance collections, tax, and month end/quarter end/year end close Drive team to deliver towards the target state incrementally Maintain strong relationships based on trust and transparency with primary business stakeholders Oversee the development, evolution and execution of Docusign’s core business technology Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of business-critical systems which includes managing priorities and balancing demand in a rapidly changing environment including SOX, audit, and compliance Perform capacity planning and ongoing monitoring around available technical resources, ensuring the right resources are assigned to the proper development tasks and proactively identifying and communicating any resource skill gaps Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered 12+ years of industry experience Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Oracle ERP, EPM, Zuora, Apttus CPQ, Mulesoft, OIC, Workday, full stack development. Experience enabling AI use cases Experience and proven success in identifying recurring business processes and replacing them with AI agents Preferred 7+ years experience with Enterprise E2E Production Support Salesforce, Oracle ERP, CPQ. 3+ years of experience in leadership roles. Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt as needed Record of planning and executing complex IT projects Ability to be the point of contact for major escalations Exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated abilities to think creatively and strategically to solve and answer key business questions/problems Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with all levels of management, colleagues and vendors Well-organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, cross-functional teamwork environment Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to multi-task and manage complexity Life at DocuSign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
