What You Can Expect The Medical Education Sr Manager leads the strategy, development, and execution of Foundations Early Career Surgeon Education program. This role is responsible for identifying and engaging faculty, building scalable learning pathways and curricula, overseeing program delivery and events, and measuring outcomes to drive continuous improvement. The position works cross-functionally to ensure programs are learner-centered, strategically aligned, and compliant with applicable policies and guidelines. How You'll Create Impact Collaborate with the Director, Medical Education to shape the early career education strategy for surgeons across training and career stages with varying educational needs. Partner with Medical Education, Surgeon Relations, business leadership, surgeon faculty, and other cross-functional teams to align on curriculum priorities and develop educational content. Develop comprehensive learning pathways, incorporating multiple modalities and technologies that address enterprise goals and meet learner objectives Partner with the Digital Learning team and external partners to develop and maintain an extensive library of educational content tailored to target learner audiences. Lead the Early Career Surgeon Education team responsible for program planning and execution, supporting their development. Foster and maintain relationships with key partners, including program directors, academic institutions, and professional societies, to strengthen educational initiatives. Evaluate the effectiveness of program design, planning processes, and execution using qualitative and quantitative measures, and implement improvements based on findings. Assess program needs on an ongoing and annual basis and make recommendations for strategy, content, and delivery enhancements. Own the program’s brand strategy to raise awareness, generate engagement, and build internal and external support. Build and maintain a database of key institutions, faculty, and program contacts. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to communicate program activity, outcomes, and impact to internal stakeholders. Manage budget and resources to support the program Develop professional templates and materials that promote consistency, quality, and professionalism for internal and external stakeholders. Stay current on advancements and best practices in medical education, using innovation and creativity to enhance programs in a compliant manner. Partner with Compliance to ensure programs adhere to relevant regulations, company policies, and guidelines governing medical education. **This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA. What Makes You Stand Out Experience leading teams with multiple direct reports across varied functions. Demonstrated ability to earn trust, build relationships, and create value with surgeons, academic institutions, and healthcare systems. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization in a highly collaborative environment. Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage multiple complex interactions effectively and professionally. High degree of professionalism in a complex, fast-paced environment. Knowledge of compliance policies, practices, and expectations relevant to medical education. Proven track record of effective process management and continuous improvement. Ability to solve complex problems and prioritize practical, business-oriented solutions. Demonstrated history of taking initiative, meeting commitments, and developing tools or solutions that achieve business results. High level of energy, personal accountability, and integrity. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business systems. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience required Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience in the orthopedic medical device industry or 10+ years of equivalent working experience strongly preferred. Travel Expectations Up to 50% travel required. EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability Expected Compensation Range: $143k to $165k, plus target bonus
