The impact you’ll make As a Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications, you will play a key role in advancing the reliability, scalability, and evolution of the company’s core business applications. You will lead high-impact initiatives that modernize the technology landscape and position the organization for future growth, including the adoption of AI-driven capabilities across the software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of enterprise application and infrastructure initiatives, including system upgrades, implementations, and ongoing enhancements. This role requires strong collaboration across IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to define requirements, assess feasibility, and ensure alignment with business priorities. You will also drive the integration of AI-enabled practices within the SDLC to improve developer productivity, accelerate delivery timelines, and enhance quality outcomes. This includes enabling tools, automation, and governance that embed AI into design, development, testing, and deployment processes. You will drive structured execution by developing delivery plans, managing resources, tracking progress, and ensuring disciplined governance across change management, testing, documentation, and user enablement. Success in this role is defined by consistent, on-time delivery of high-quality outcomes within budget, across a portfolio of initiatives that vary in scale and complexity. What you’ll do As the Senior Manager, you will have the unique chance to lead and inspire a globally distributed team of technology experts, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development. Your contributions will be key to enhancing our digital capabilities, enabling us to stay ahead in a rapidly changing digital world. This role offers a platform to showcase your strategic vision, technical prowess, and program management skills, making a lasting impact on the organization and the industry at large. Lead globally distributed technology teams through programs and projects that create, enhance, or maintain application platforms. Support business objectives by providing technology solutions, ensuring proper structures and processes are in place. Set the direction for different teams to drive digital transformation and oversee execution. This requires making business cases, securing budgets and BU alignment, planning staffing, and leading execution with a focus on efficiency (automation) and scale (repeatability). Engage with business leaders to understand business priorities and translate these needs into executable solutions, while managing expectations. Lead evaluation and recommendation of software products and services in line with business and financial (TCO) goals. Accountable for end-to-end ownership of application platforms that include, but are not limited to, differentiating LOB applications, mobile apps, and cloud-based solutions. Manage budgets, resource capacity plans, and work schedules for the team. Build a high-performing team and elevate the team’s skills aligned to Digital Transformation needs and individual goals. Who we’re looking for Minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years of experience; or equivalent experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the full SDLC, with expertise in application and service development, implementation, and support. Advanced understanding of cloud architecture and experience leading cloud transformation initiatives. 5–8 years of direct people management and team development experience. Demonstrated ability to engage with executive management and deliver measurable outcomes. Demonstrates a strong capacity for flexibility and adaptability, with a keen willingness to learn and empower teams to thrive in a dynamic environment. Experience in managing IT outsourcing vendors, including SLA and performance management. Proven program management skills for large-scale enterprise projects. Practical experience in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, guiding teams through cloud solution selection, implementation, and support. Expertise to deliver business solutions in conformance with best-in-class security and resiliency standards. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, with a focus on developing scalable, performant, and resilient application architectures, with a focus on CI/CD automations. Extensive background in developing solutions using .Net, C#, Xamarin, Java, J2EE, SQL Server, among other technologies. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, with the agility to adjust to changing priorities across diverse clientele. Proven ability to establish operational plans with mid-term impact, upholding standards that drive high performance and execution. Preferred qualifications Background in the semiconductor industry, particularly in Manufacturing and Engineering roles. Solid grasp of financial and accounting principles, with experience in budgeting and forecasting. Comprehensive understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) practices and their influence on business decisions and strategic planning. In-depth knowledge of best practices in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering, preferably within a high-tech context. The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
