The Senior Manager II – FP&A, Revenue Planning & Analysis – OPS COE for BMS will be a highly collaborative Finance business partner. This exceptional leader will act as a "player-coach," overseeing and supporting execution of FP&A activities for the market focused Revenue team in BMS's Hyderabad Hub and demonstrate the following attributes: Exceptional expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling Deep understanding of the business landscape, market / product trends, revenue forecasting, gross-to-net dynamics, and industry dynamics in the market Outstanding ability to forge strong partnerships with fellow Hub team members and in-market Finance colleagues to provide high quality services in a timely fashion Open communication and cooperation to ensure the FP&A Hub in Hyderabad remains an integral part of the local FP&A teams, aligned to broader vision and strategy, and contributes to the overall success of the Finance function and BMS Act as a key liaison between finance and other business units ensuring alignment with overall goals and driving performance improvements. Serves as a member of the OPS COE Innovation Council, championing digital transformation, automation, and AI-enabled solutions across the FP&A function. Successful candidates will possess excellent leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver exceptional results. A minimum of 10-14 years of experience is required. The position will be based in BMS's Hyderabad Location (expected 50% in-person) with minimal travel expected. Key Responsibilities and Major Duties: FP&A activities Leads team and supports execution of Finance Planning & Analysis / Revenue Planning for Regional and MR COE consumption Shall serve as day-to-day Revenue forecasting contact for MR COE FP&A team Leads a team that builds and reviews budget and projections for gross and net revenue planning for all the markets Drives volume, price, and mix analysis and models gross-to-net (GTN) deductions, rebates, discounts, and returns across products and channels Provides effective analyses to clearly highlight key revenue trends / variances and rationale Prepares presentations for budget & projection reviews; updates revenue forecast templates as needed Prepares analysis of monthly actual revenue variances vs. budget / projection in alignment with standard framework and templates Active involvement in driving right adoption of revenue planning and forecasting tools. Liaise with relevant teams to ensure information accuracy for all regions. Business partnering and provide financial insights and support to help MR COE have right discussions with the business partners on revenue performance Manages and executes special projects, ad-hoc analysis to ensure highly effective outcomes Process standardization and improvement Support Director, FP&A Operations, who owns FP&A Operations process globally for BMS Support the development and execution of a global strategy for policies, processes, and technologies Define and establish consistent end to end process, KPIs and targets and intervene accordingly to drive results improvement Collaborate with data owners / stewards to align on process and data issues Propose forecasting improvement projects with a focus on delivering key business outcomes Develop the business case for process improvement decisions, and tracks actuals against the plan to validate execution and improve future plans Participating in process governance Identify, design and incorporate industry leading practices into standard operations within the Hyderabad Hub necessary to identify, and raise / resolve issues involving tradeoffs, especially around cost, quality, and customer service Maintain a culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organization and foster a business-oriented culture; continuously monitor the needs of the business Solicit feedback from internal customers, both operationally and regionally, to determine the best response to continually improve process performance and year-over-year cost reductions Ensure and continually validate operating procedures are established and documented to support execution, and are maintained to align with process changes Digital, technology and innovation Serves as an active member of the OPS COE Innovation Council, identifying, prioritizing, and driving digital, automation, and AI initiatives within the tower and across the Hub Designs, builds, and deploys AI agents and generative-AI enabled workflows to automate recurring FP&A tasks such as variance commentary, data validation, and report generation Develops and maintains interactive dashboards and self-service reporting using Power BI (or equivalent BI tools) to deliver real-time financial insights to stakeholders Leverages automation and low-code / no-code tools (e.g., Power Automate, Alteryx, Python) to streamline data preparation, reconciliation, and forecasting processes Partners with Digital, Data & Technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable, governed technical solutions Promotes data literacy and upskills the team on emerging analytics and AI tools, embedding a culture of continuous digital innovation Relationship management and teaming Interacts with MR COE team for all the markets Serves as an inspirational and engaging leader who motivates and engages through clear articulation of FP&A priorities for the market Shares leading practices and learning with other Hub sub-tower teams Collaborates across Hub sub-towers to drive process standardization and innovation Establishes and maintains strong relationships with Associate Director – OPS COE – Revenue, Director – FP&A OPS COE, Executive Director – GBO and HYD Hub FP&A Lead, Director US and Director Ex-US MR COE Assists in recruiting, hiring, and retaining of strong local team members Identifies and manages training and upskilling of local team members Holds self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy Risk management Articulates material risks and opportunities and takes an active role supporting MR COE in designing and executing response or contingency plans We hire for skills and capabilities, not just credentials – if this role excites you, but doesn’t perfectly match your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
