PURPOSE Under the overall management of the Senior Director Taxation advise on tax related matters and support the tax effectiveness implementation of approved business strategies with the overall objectives to: - Create protect and optimize value from a tax perspective in the context of SITA's business objectives; - Manage tax related risks; - Ensure compliance with tax laws and reporting requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES For specific regions and projects as applicable advise and support the implementation in the areas of: 1. Tax planning and effective tax rate management - Identify plan and execute agreed international tax projects - Provide tax planning consulting and compliance expertise to the business - Tax review and approval for specific business projects - Contribute to and influence the development of the Company's financial policies instruments regulations from the expert standpoint 2. Tax accounting and reporting - Support the calculation of the tax provisions and the financial statement disclosure in the global and local accounts 3. Tax compliance and audit defense - Provide specialist support to corporate control for tax compliance and for defense of SITA position in tax audits disclosure in the global and local accounts3. Tax compliance and audit defense- Provide specialist support to corporate control for tax compliance and for defense of SITA position in tax audits Qualifications EXPERIENCE 7+ years of post analysis Tax experience; Experience with a major accounting or law firm and/or a tax department of a multinational company; Experience of a wide range of international tax issues including both direct and indirect taxes; Proven strong analytical and communication skills. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Excellent technical tax and accounting skills tax compliance and consulting English - advanced level mandatory & French - strong advantage Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree; Specialist qualification in Law Accounting and/or Tax.
