Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $140,000 - $210,000 . Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, or other incentive compensation in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan of up to a 20% Bonus Target. Employment Logistics: The Senior Manager of Claims provides strategic leadership for claims operations, overseeing multiple teams and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role drives operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability through advanced analytics, audit rigor, quality management, and cross-functional alignment. The Senior Manager also leads process improvements, manages departmental resources, and contributes to strategic planning while developing a high-performing claims organization. The Must-Haves: 8+ years of relevant experience, including management experience, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Deep understanding of claims, data analytics, policies, and workflows, with awareness of adjacent functions Strong financial literacy to manage budgets and determine team ROI Knowledge of high-volume transaction environments and automation ​​It is the responsibility of every position to understand and adhere to the security guidelines outlined in OnTrac’s Acceptable Use policy and to conduct their activities accordingly.​ Your Mission in Motion: A summary of key responsibilities for the role is outlined below. Claims strategy, forecasting & performance: Develop and lead enterprise claims strategies, including forecasting models, resource optimization, and KPI frameworks that enable scalable and efficient operations. Process optimization & quality management: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and embed proactive quality management frameworks into core service delivery. Procedures, systems & information flow: Plan, implement, and streamline procedures, systems, and information flow to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Reporting, dashboards & analytics: Design and build scalable reporting tools and dashboards that improve visibility, transparency, and data-driven decision-making across claims operations. Budget & resource management: Set and manage the departmental budget while allocating resources effectively and responsibly. Executive insights & strategic influence: Deliver executive-level insights and recommendations that influence senior leadership, shape strategy, and improve operational performance. Team leadership & development: Hire, manage, schedule, and develop teams, with accountability for coaching, performance evaluations, corrective action, discipline, and termination recommendations. Paving your way to your success: You translate organizational goals into clear, actionable plans that improve claims performance and scalability. You lead, build, and inspire teams of professionals, providing effective coaching that strengthens performance. You communicate effectively at all levels, tailoring your message and approach to the audience. You establish operational objectives, policies, procedures, and work plans while delegating responsibilities effectively. You lead the strategy and execution of major projects that affect multiple areas across the organization.
