Who We Are Imprint helps the world's best brands grow the lifetime value of their customers. We started with co-branded credit cards and rebuilt them to be smarter, more rewarding, and brand-first. We partner with companies like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com , H-E-B, Fetch, and Shell to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. But the card is just the beginning. We combine advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and deep customer data to create delightful and personalized experiences for members as well as efficient and profitable relationships for our brand partners. Our robust technology and world-class operations allow us and our brand partners to offer powerful financial products without becoming a bank. In the U.S., co-branded cards alone account for over $300 billion in annual spend, and most still run on decades-old legacy bank systems. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, embeddable, and built for how people actually pay today. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, Ribbit, and Khosla Ventures, we're building a world-class team to redefine how people pay and how brands grow. If you want to move fast, solve hard problems, and own real outcomes, we want to meet you. Senior Manager, Strategic Finance As Senior Manager, Strategic Finance, you will own Imprint's corporate financial model and act as a strategic thought partner to cross functional teams, helping steer the business weekly, not quarterly, toward the right outcomes. This is a high impact individual contributor role with accountability for the numbers that drive our most important decisions and for the story those numbers tell to our board, our investors, and teams across Risk, Growth, and Data. This is a hands on role for someone who is equally at home in the weeds of a model and in the room with executives. You'll build the forecast, dig into why the numbers moved, and turn that into a clear recommendation, then translate the same analysis into a board ready narrative that anticipates the questions investors will ask before they ask them. You will partner directly with Senior Leaders, with direct exposure to the C-suite, and work cross functionally with Commercial, Risk, Growth, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, and Data. Beyond owning the numbers, you'll help push the business forward strategically, making sure the company is focused on the right actions to drive the best outcomes, and giving leadership a clear, well reasoned point of view on where to place its bets. This role is right for someone who thinks like an investor, has strong commercial judgment, and has the confidence to challenge assumptions rather than just report results. What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days Demonstrated strong financial modeling capabilities across key business initiatives and started building trust with the corporate model as a source of truth Provided strategic finance thought leadership to cross functional teams across Commercial, Risk, Growth, and Data, establishing credibility as a trusted partner Owned monthly and weekly reporting cycles with accuracy and autonomy, freeing up leadership time and making the cadence run through you Identified process improvements that increase team efficiency and reduce manual work Built trusted working relationships across Commercial, Risk, Growth, Data, Accounting, Treasury, and Capital Markets Surfaced actionable insights from data that influenced at least one major business decision Started raising the quality of board and investor materials, with a clearer story and a faster process Responsibilities Own the design, build, and maintenance of Imprint's corporate financial model and consolidated forecast, with a clear narrative behind every number Own recurring financial processes including monthly reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis Run the planning and forecasting cadence, monitor performance against plan, diagnose variances, and turn them into action: not "we were below plan," but why, what it means, and what we should do about it Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decisions and ROI analysis Own the board materials and the analyses that tell Imprint's story to investors, and scale how those materials get built as the company grows Understand how investors evaluate the business, the metrics they prioritize and how they read performance, risk, and growth, and get ahead of their questions in how you frame the numbers Act as a strategic thought partner to cross functional teams on business planning, investment decisions, and performance tracking Provide decision support on strategic initiatives, pricing, and investment decisions, evaluating trade offs and P&L implications so leadership has an informed point of view in the room Partner with Commercial GMs, partner leads, Risk, and Growth teams to incorporate revenue and cost inputs into planning models and evaluate ROI on growth and product investments Collaborate with Accounting on close and reporting accuracy so the model reconciles to actuals, and with Treasury and Capital Markets on cash flow and funding Pull your own data using Imprint's BI tools (Looker, Sigma, Tableau, or similar) and synthesize large, imperfect datasets into clear insight Identify opportunities to automate processes and increase team autonomy, using AI tooling such as Claude and Cursor to redesign how the work gets done, not just speed up existing reporting Support ad hoc strategic projects and business case development Present financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders, translating complex outputs into actionable recommendations for finance and non-finance audiences alike Qualifications Required 6+ years across private equity or investment banking and in-house FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance.
