This role is responsible for translating sustainability goals, frameworks, and standards into clear, credible, and compelling member-facing narratives, content, and visual systems that define how GOAL shows up to members and the broader sports and live events industry. This position owns GOAL’s brand expression across written, visual, and experiential touchpoints—including hands-on content creation—while ensuring consistency, integrity, and alignment as the organization scales. Working closely with GOAL leadership and cross-functional partners, the Senior Manager connects sustainability programs, communications, and design to create cohesive and high-quality member experiences. Responsibilities Steward GOAL’s core programs, including the GOAL Medals, member frameworks, and learning experiences, ensuring clarity, consistency, and real-world applicability Partner with sustainability leads to translate goals and action plans into clear member-facing frameworks, narratives, and tools Shape how member frameworks and sustainability initiatives are expressed through language and visual identity, ensuring alignment with both GOAL standards and individual member context Identify structural challenges, gaps, and opportunities across GOAL programs and help inform their evolution over time Contribute to the design and evolution of GOAL events as core programs, shaping content, narrative, and member experience in partnership with event and operations teams Own GOAL’s content ecosystem across newsletters, social media, websites, frameworks, recognition materials, and events—including hands-on writing, editing, formatting, and production Serve as the keeper of the GOAL brand, maintaining and evolving visual identity, voice, and tone across all materials Ensure consistency between GOAL’s website, design system, and all downstream content and assets Establish and uphold communication and design standards that protect GOAL’s credibility and clarity Apply design thinking and visual communication principles to translate complex sustainability concepts into clear, engaging, and usable formats Extend GOAL’s design system into new programs, tools, and experiences as needed Act as the internal quality bar for clarity, accuracy, and polish across all member-facing materials Serve as a key point of contact for GOAL members seeking support related to brand alignment, frameworks, recognition, and communication of sustainability efforts Partner directly with members on an as-needed basis, depending on the type of support required, as a part of GOAL’s broader cross-functional member support model Collaborate closely with sustainability, data, and leadership counterparts to ensure members receive coordinated, consistent support across strategy, data, and communication Translate member feedback, questions, and lived experience into improvements across GOAL programs, content, and brand systems Work closely with GOAL leadership to ensure programs, communications, and brand expression remain aligned as the organization grows Partner with sustainability, data, events, and communications teams to connect strategy, execution, and member experience Proactively surface risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities related to program clarity, communication, and brand int egrity Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience across sustainability communications, program development, design, or related fields Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability or a related field preferred. Previous experience with sustainability programs in a sports & entertainment-driven venue a plus. Strong background in brand stewardship, content creation, and visual communication, with demonstrated design fluency Ability to translate complex sustainability concepts into clear, credible, and engaging narratives Comfort working directly with members and cross-functional partners in a collaborative, advisory capacity Strong judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and integrity
