Provide leadership, mentoring, guidance and technical expertise to the project team Guide the overall technical design of uranium or potash plants and ancillaries Define capital project requirements, prepare scopes of work and project cost estimates Guide the creation of specifications and contract documents Review project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracy Coordinate and work with other project team members Direct the detail design for projects Develop and maintain positive, sustainable client relationships What makes you remarkable? Expected: 15+ years of experience with potash and/or uranium plant design and operations Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with APEGS in the Province of Saskatchewan Familiarity with design codes, equipment and material selection and specification development Able to perform calculations for equipment design, such as for tanks, pumps, and conveyors Pipe stress calculations are an asset Underground operations is an asset Wellfield piping design is an asset Construction experience is an asset Other heavy industrial, mining, or smelting experience is an asset Excellent communication skills Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood
