Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer

We are continuously growing, and we are looking for a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer to join our UniQue Modern Workplace & Cloud Services team, part of our ICT Services Technical Division. For the Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer position, we expect you to: Be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of intricate IT systems utilizing Microsoft technologies. Manage remote and on-site as well as maintain customers' IT infrastructure. Be involved in investigating and resolving cases. Your experience, skillset and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward. University/College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline. 5+ years of proven working experience in a similar role, supporting IT infrastructure environments. In depth expertise in Windows Server and Microsoft technologies. Proficient in managing and deploying Active Directory and Federation Services. Expert in administering Group Policy within large-scale organizations. Solid knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, CA and other core infrastructure services. Hands-on experience with System Center components, (SCVMM, SCOM, and SCCM). Skilled at performance tuning, log analysis, and capacity planning. Knowledgeable in implementing MS High Availability and Failover Clustering. Familiarity with Hyper-V and other virtualization platforms. Experience with Exchange Server (on-premises and online) is considered an asset. Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell or comparable tools. Knowledge of Azure and other cloud platforms is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication with business stakeholders. Ability to produce clear deployment documentation. Expertise in planning and change management. Proficient in English (verbal and written). Willingness to travel internationally (mainly within the EU, up to 5% of time). What are we offering to our UniQue IT People?
