In this role, you'll: Work as part of the Government & Parliamentary Services Branch, within the Government Business & Services unit. You will develop high-quality written products that support Ministers, senior executives and government decision-making. You'll research, analyse and synthesise complex information to prepare a range of Ministerial and Parliamentary products, including briefing materials, responses, speaking notes and advice on issues that matter to the people of NSW. Working across a diverse portfolio, you'll partner with stakeholders to develop clear, concise and audience-focused products. You'll manage competing priorities, respond to time-critical requests and apply sound judgement to ensure quality outcomes. This is an opportunity to work at the centre of government, gain exposure to a wide range of policy and operational issues, and contribute to products that directly support Ministers and senior leaders. About you You bring to the role: • Experience from a ministerial, parliamentary, policy, communications, journalism, media, government, strategy, advisory or stakeholder engagement background. • Exceptional verbal and written communication with highly editing and proofreading skills • Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills, allowing you to identify key issues, risks and recommendations from diverse information sources. • Ability to quickly understand complex issues and translate information into clear, concise and audience-focused products. • Strong stakeholder and relationship building skills - to produce accurate, high-quality work • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly, while maintaining attention to detail and delivering quality outcomes.
