Role: Senior Motion Designer/Video Editor Location: Hybrid (México) Language: Proficiency in English is required as we are a global business About the role: This is an opportunity to a nearshore production hub in Mexico City as Motion Designer & Video Editor — creating motion content that reaches students across our clients five healthcare education institutions. Based in Mexico City, you'll produce motion graphics, animation, and edited video content for digital channels — working within a high-velocity studio environment where Pencil's GenAI video capability is part of the production toolkit. You'll collaborate with the Video Editing Lead, Senior Producer, and creative team to bring the institutions' brands to life in motion. The Motion Designer & Video Editor produces motion and video content across the full portfolio. You work from creative direction provided by the Associate Creative Director and Art Directors, executing motion graphics, video edits, and animated content for paid social, digital display, email, and web — at the pace and quality standard required by a high-performance production studio. What You'll Do Design and produce motion graphics, animated content, and video edits for five healthcare education institutions across paid social, digital display, email, and web channels Edit short-form video content for social and digital platforms — including both traditionally produced footage and GenAI video output from Pencil Apply brand guidelines with precision across all motion content, maintaining the distinct visual identity of each institution Work with the Video Editing Lead to manage your brief queue within OMG — updating project status, flagging timeline risks, and delivering assets on schedule Use Pencil and other AI-assisted motion tools to accelerate creative iteration and production, applying strong human editorial judgment at every stage Participate in review and feedback cycles with the Video Editing Lead and Associate Creative Director — taking direction clearly and executing revisions efficiently Maintain organized project files, version control, and asset delivery within the studio's file management system Contribute to the studio's motion template library — building reusable, brand-consistent animation systems that support efficient production at scale Stay current with motion design trends, social video formats, and GenAI video technology — bringing fresh ideas and techniques to the team What You Bring 5+ years of experience in similar roles Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent) A portfolio demonstrating strong motion design and video editing across digital formats — social video, animated display, or branded motion content Experience working in high-volume production environments with multiple concurrent projects Familiarity with GenAI video tools (Runway, Pencil's film generation capability, or equivalent) or a strong interest in developing this capability Understanding of digital video specifications — social platform formats, aspect ratios, compression requirements, and delivery standards Professional proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency is an advantage for the Mexico City hub role A collaborative, feedback-receptive working style with an eye for detail and a drive for craft quality Gen AI & Agentic Thinking Proficiency with or strong curiosity about AI video generation and motion design tools — including Pencil, Runway, and Adobe Firefly Experience developing personal AI-assisted workflows for motion production, asset iteration, and format adaptation Req ID: 17766 #LI-REMOTE #LI-MV1 #BTG+ Our values shape everything we do: Be Ambitious to succeed Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible Be Inspirational to do groundbreaking work Be always learning and listening to understand Be Results-focused to exceed expectations Be actively pro-inclusive and anti-racist across our community, clients and creations Brandtech+, a part of the Brandtech Group, is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive working environment where all employees are encouraged to reach their full potential, and individual differences are valued and respected.
