About Us Sunshine Enterprise USA is retained by our valued client to search and recruit for the following executive opening: Job Description Senior .NET Developer Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Interview Process: 2 Rounds of Virtual Interviews Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 10+ Years Candidate location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC, NC, or GA Resident AND be willing to relocate to SC at their own expense prior to their start date. Project Scope: Seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to develop, enhance, and support enterprise-class mission-critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET, C#, Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft development technologies, and enterprise system integrations . The role involves designing, developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining highly scalable applications while collaborating with business users, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver reliable software solutions. Key Responsibilities: · Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level .NET applications. · Develop and support mission-critical business applications using C# and .NET technologies. · Build and maintain integrations with Oracle and SQL Server databases. · Develop solutions using Microsoft's software development ecosystem. · Analyze, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues. · Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production support. · Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements. · Work with external vendors and internal teams to develop specifications and test plans. · Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices. · Maintain technical documentation and provide regular project status updates. · Support software deployments, upgrades, and ongoing application maintenance. Required Skills & Experience: · 6+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using .NET and C#. · 4+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise-class mission-critical applications. · 4+ years of experience integrating applications with Oracle and SQL Server databases. · 4+ years of experience using Microsoft software development tools and technologies. · 4+ years of State Government experience. · Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: · Experience with Visual Studio 2022 or later. · Knowledge of Visual COBOL V7 or later. · Experience troubleshooting client-server applications. · Experience collaborating with business users and external vendors to develop requirements, specifications, and test plans. · Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and software development best practices. Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
