Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Technical Lead to lead the development and support of enterprise .NET applications, web services, desktop applications, and system integrations.
This is a hands-on technical leadership position requiring 10+ years of .NET development experience, strong SQL Server expertise, and demonstrated experience leading offshore or globally distributed development teams. The Technical Lead will serve as the primary onshore technical resource responsible for translating requirements into actionable development work, reviewing offshore deliverables, resolving technical issues, and ensuring solutions meet enterprise architecture, security, performance, and SDLC standards.
The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on development skills with the ability to provide technical direction, mentor developers, coordinate delivery across multiple time zones, and support mission-critical production applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and support of enterprise .NET web and desktop applications
- Develop, test, debug, enhance, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Windows Forms, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and SQL Server
- Provide day-to-day technical leadership for onshore and offshore development teams
- Plan work, assign technical tasks, provide estimates, and track offshore delivery commitments
- Translate business and technical requirements into technical tasks, user stories, specifications, and design artifacts
- Review offshore code for architecture, security, performance, quality, and development standards
- Serve as the primary onshore escalation point for technical issues, delivery risks, and dependencies
- Ensure offshore deliverables meet sprint commitments and quality expectations
- Partner with Scrum Masters and Project Managers on sprint planning, backlog refinement, and dependency management
- Develop and support REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, WCF, and enterprise integrations
- Design technical interfaces, specifications, application architecture, and software prototypes
- Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Perform system analysis, debugging, tracing, troubleshooting, and production support
- Analyze how application changes impact interconnected enterprise systems
- Participate throughout the complete SDLC, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
- Follow enterprise configuration, change-control, audit, and release-management processes
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers
- Maintain technical documentation, user guides, architecture documentation, and weekly progress reporting

The role will also be responsible for coordinating development activities between onshore and offshore teams while ensuring technical changes are evaluated for their impact across multiple enterprise applications.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on .NET development experience
- Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Windows Forms
- Strong front-end development experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Advanced Microsoft SQL Server experience
- Strong hands-on experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures
- Experience developing applications using n-tier architecture
- Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns
- Strong experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP APIs
- Demonstrated experience acting as an onshore technical lead for offshore or distributed development teams
- Experience leading development teams operating across multiple time zones
- Ability to provide technical direction, estimates, work assignments, and delivery commitments
- Experience performing code reviews and enforcing technical standards
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and system-tracing capabilities
- Experience with Git and continuous integration
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Experience supporting enterprise production applications
- Ability to work directly with business users to define technical and system requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership skills
