Senior Network Analyst

Rate: €300 - €340 per day B2B

Location: Bucharest, Romania (Remote)

Duration: 12 months initially, with potential extension

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Analyst to deploy, migrate and support enterprise-scale SD-WAN and campus network infrastructure across a large, geographically distributed environment.

The role requires strong hands-on SD-WAN experience, ideally Cisco Viptela or Juniper, combined with a solid background in campus networking. You will support the integration of SD-WAN services with campus LAN, core routing, data centre connectivity and shared enterprise services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, migrate and operate enterprise SD-WAN services across campus, branch and data centre environments.
• Configure and support Cisco Viptela and/or Juniper SD-WAN platforms, including policies, segmentation, templates and application-aware routing.
• Integrate SD-WAN edge infrastructure with campus switching, core routing and data centre networks.
• Support campus network environments covering LAN switching, VLANs, trunking, routing, redundancy and site connectivity.
• Migrate legacy WAN and campus environments to standardised, software-defined network architectures.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, VRFs, NAT, DHCP and DNS dependencies.
• Monitor and optimise network availability, latency, packet loss, jitter, QoS and application performance.
• Plan and execute site migrations, circuit activations and network cutovers, including validation and post-change hypercare.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, security teams and other infrastructure functions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, deployment templates, operational runbooks and network standards.
• Support incident, problem and change management within a structured enterprise environment.

Required Experience

• At least five years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• At least three years of hands-on SD-WAN implementation and operational experience.
• Strong experience with Cisco Viptela SD-WAN and/or Juniper SD-WAN.
• Demonstrable campus networking experience across enterprise sites, offices or large corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of campus switching, VLANs, Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity, redundancy and routing.
• Experience integrating SD-WAN platforms with campus LAN and data centre networks.
• Strong routing and troubleshooting skills across BGP, OSPF, VRFs, NAT, DHCP and DNS.
• Experience with SD-WAN controllers, centralised management, policy configuration and template-driven deployments.
• Experience delivering network migrations and cutovers across multiple enterprise locations.
• Strong understanding of network resilience, high availability and segmentation.

Preferred Experience

• Cisco Viptela experience covering vManage, control policies, data policies, templates and upgrades.
• Juniper SD-WAN deployment or operational experience.
• Experience with Cisco campus switching platforms and enterprise LAN environments.
• Exposure to network automation, orchestration or software-defined networking.
• Experience coordinating carrier circuits, site activations and vendor escalations.
• Knowledge of security integration, monitoring platforms and shared network services.
• Experience working within formal incident, change and problem management processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
