We’re looking for a Network Platform Engineer to operate at the intersection of Architecture, Engineering, and Operations, building high-performance, broadcast-grade network platforms supporting live events and global media workflows.
OverviewIn this role, you’ll design and evolve end-to-end network platforms (Layer 1–4) across cloud, on-prem, and broadcast environments. You’ll work in a feedback-driven loop with operations, continuously improving reliability, performance, and scalability.
This is a high-stakes environment where networks must be deterministic, low-latency, and failure-resilient during live production windows.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify architectural gaps from operational patterns and propose data-driven improvements
- Build Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Vault) for network & security
- Enable self-service network capabilities via Infrastructure as Code
- Own your domain as a product: roadmap, stakeholders, and outcomes
- Define and evolve SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs
- Design for reliability and failure in partnership with NRE teams
- Own observability (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Apply AI/ML to network operations (anomaly detection, predictive capacity, remediation)
Requirements
- Strong networking fundamentals (Layer 1–4, VLAN, LAG, STP, BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with network security platforms (Palo Alto, Prisma, Zero Trust)
- Hands-on Terraform (module development)
- Deep knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, hybrid connectivity)
- Experience with on-prem / data center networking at scale
- Strong scripting skills (Python preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot deeply (packet capture, configs, fiber, etc.)
- Experience working in high-availability, deadline-driven environments
