Senior NodeJS Engineer

Location: Who we are We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join a fast-paced product engineering team building scalable, API-driven digital solutions. This role is ideal for a senior engineer with strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise, a modern AI-driven development mindset, and a passion for designing robust backend architectures. You will work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications while contributing to technical decisions across the full software development lifecycle. Technology Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, Azure, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, Cloud Platforms, Agile Delivery What you'll be doing Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript Define and implement robust application architectures and integration patterns Leverage AI-driven development practices while ensuring code quality, security, and scalability Review and validate AI-generated code and technical solutions Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams throughout the delivery lifecycle Contribute to cloud-based deployments and infrastructure discussions Support CI/CD processes and engineering best practices Participate in architectural discussions and help drive technical decisions Work effectively in environments with evolving requirements and changing priorities What you'll bring along Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or equivalent working experience 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript Proven experience building and maintaining API-driven backend systems Solid understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization Experience working with AI-powered development tools and workflows Strong ability to assess code quality, security, and maintainability Good understanding of DevOps principles and collaboration with DevOps teams Exposure to Terraform and cloud platforms, preferably Azure (AWS experience is also valuable) Understanding of frontend application needs across web and mobile platforms Ability to contribute beyond backend implementation and drive technical improvements Comfortable working with ambiguity, changing scope, and evolving business requirements English proficiency at B2–C1 level Document What’s in it for you ✔ New beginnings can be a challenge.
