About the role We are seeking an experienced Senior Operational Excellence Specialist to lead and develop Operational Excellence team outside of the DACH region. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, strategic partner management, and Supply Chain administration. Anchored to the core of this role is a clear accountability for our European Service inventory and master data stewardship. The role ensures clear priorities, structured execution, and alignment across all improvement and optimization activities that support Sales, Installations, Service Operations, Supply Chain, and Back-Office processes. Working as part of a wider, Operational Excellence team, the Senior specialist will drive transparency, performance, and collaboration, ensuring that, cross functionally, all teams are working effectively on initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across the organization. Key Responsibilities Leadership Lead, coach, and develop the Operational Excellence team and wider matrix organisation, Strategic Partner Management, and Supply Chain Administration. Take clear ownership of business priorities and OpEx improvements, influencing stakeholders at multiple levels within the organisation Operational Excellence and Process Coordination Oversee the identification, prioritization, and execution of improvement initiatives across all operational areas. Coordinate cross-functional workshops, process mapping, and analysis activities to drive harmonization and process quality. Monitor progress of improvement programs, resolve roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery of agreed outcomes. Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Master Data ownership Anchored within the Service organisation as our Master Data Steward Ensure consistent and correct use of D365 across all team activities, including process mapping, system workflows, reporting, and data accuracy. Coordinate with IT, Operations, and Business Process Owners to implement new D365 functionalities or enhancements. Promote the use of dashboards and analytics tools, such as Power BI, to support decision-making and performance transparency. Partner and Supplier Collaboration Oversee Strategic Partner Management activities, including performance monitoring, compliance, and training coordination for partners Support the development of partner scalability and quality improvements through structured interaction and follow-up. Conduct structured on-site reviews with strategic partners, field service partners, and warehouse operations to assess performance, ensure process adherence, and identify improvement opportunities Cross-Functional Alignment Work closely with Sales, Service Operations, Installations, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to ensure alignment of improvement initiatives. Support the creation and maintenance of standard processes across functions, ensuring consistency and transparency. Ensure clear communication of priorities, project status, and changes to all stakeholders. Performance, Reporting, and Governance Monitor team performance using defined metrics and ensure reporting of progress and achievements Track improvements in process efficiency, lead times, quality, and cost impacts arising from Operational Excellence initiatives Ensure compliance with internal governance, documentation standards, and operational guidelines Experience: Proven experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or business transformation, preferably in a multi-functional environment. Leadership: Strong team leadership skills with experience in coaching & performance development Process Expertise: Solid understanding of end-to-end processes across service, installations, supply chain, and back-office functions. System Proficiency: Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and reporting tools such as Power BI. Project Management: Experience in managing cross-functional projects with methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum, or equivalent. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, metrics, and trends and convert insights into actions. Communication: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, multilingual is desired, but fluency in English is a pre-requisite Financial Understanding: Basic understanding of financial drivers across operational processes, including costs, efficiency, and resource utilization. Education: Degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, or equivalent professional experience.
