Senior P6/MEP Project Planning Engineer (Remote, Karachi, PKR Salary)

Job description: About the Company: We are a dynamic and rapidly expanding UK-based international engineering consultancy providing world-class planning, project control, and management services across multiple sectors. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for experienced and motivated Senior P6/MEP Project Planning Engineers based in Pakistan to join our remote team. Position Overview: The Senior P6/MEP Project Planning Engineer will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules, with a strong focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience with Primavera P6 , strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup. Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 . Coordinate and integrate MEP activities within the overall project program. Liaise with project teams to ensure accurate progress updates and realistic forecasting. Conduct delay analysis, critical path assessment, and schedule risk evaluations. Prepare planning deliverables including baseline programs, progress reports, and recovery schedules. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts. Ensure adherence to project timelines, scope, and quality standards. Support tender planning and bid submissions when required. Key Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of proven hands-on Primavera P6 experience, including MEP project planning in on-site or consultancy environments. Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). Experience with Asta Powerproject is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, resource allocation, and earned value analysis. Excellent communication and reporting skills in English. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Must have: Reliable 24-hour electricity and internet backup . Personal laptop/PC with Primavera P6 software installed.
